Carey who's 5'10" tall and was once an iconic American models for fashion. Top designers including Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren liked her. Her father was a prominent geologist and named Scientist of 1979 by the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. Carey was a frequent traveler because of her father's work. She started modeling part time during her time attending the University of Colorado and caught the attention of a representative of the Ford model Agency in New York. She lived in France briefly, in Paris as well as Bordeaux. After that, she came back in New York for her college studies and to further develop her career as a model. While she was modeling, she was also a full-time student obtaining a major in literature at New York University. She became more interested in acting, and began studying with the Neighborhood Playhouse of New York. Her debut as an actor was a role alongside Robin Williams in the 1986 film "Club Paradise. When she is not working, she enjoys skiing or windsurfing. She also enjoys climbing mountains as well as whitewater kayaking.
