Melissa Suzanne George is an actress businesswoman inventor and model originally from Australia. Melissa George began her professional career as a model and actor in the Australian market, and then she moved to Hollywood. George is a Perth native who was interested at first in artistic skateboarding and dance. George started her modeling career when she was an teen and was awarded the Western Australian Teenage Model in 1992. In 1992, her first screen appearance was in an episode Seven Network soap opera Home and Away. Her film debut was on Dark City.
