Sharon Yvonne Stone, born on March 10, 1958, at Meadville (Pennsylvania), is the daughter of Dorothy Lawson, a former worker at a factory, and Joseph William Stone, a tool and die maker. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her siblings. Stone was in second grade at just five. Stone was said as being academically gifted. She graduated with a high school diploma in Saegertown which is located in Saegertown situated in Pennsylvania in 1975. She also competed for the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, and was crowned Miss Crawford County. Stone was moved from Pennsylvania to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt to take on a job as models. In just a few months, she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. Then, she relocated into Europe and spent an entire year living in Milan as well as Paris. But, Stone became disillusioned with modeling and fashion within Europe and decided to go into acting while in the country. In her 20s, she starred in the Woody Allen film "Stardust Memories," which received mixed reviews.
